Question: Is Revize® CMS a stand-alone application?
Answer: Yes. Revize® CMS is a stand-alone application, and can be purchased separately and it includes an embedded relational data base.

Question: Do we lose some features or functionality by choosing Revize® ONLINE, which is a hosted application?
Answer: No. Revize® ONLINE, unlike every other hosted content management system on the market today, is an enterprise-level application. By that, we mean that it has as many or more features and as much flexibility as any web content management system on the market. Revize® CMS has been selected by Governments, Universities as well as small to mid-size businesses as the top hosted content management system on the market.

Question: Does Revize® CMS require a specific browser?
Answer: Yes. It requires Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater on a PC or FireFox 1.0 or greater.

Question: Should I be worried about security with a hosted software application like Revize® ONLINE?
Answer: No. If your content is intended for use on a web site, then a hosted content management solution is not going to make your content less secure. In fact, Interactive Innovations provides 24/7/365 security management on our Revize® ONLINE application and application environment. Revize also has specific security features built directly into the application.

Question: How much does Revize® ONLINE cost?
Answer: At Interactive Innovations, we bill monthly for our software service. Our monthly fee includes the software license, all of the hardware and network costs, all management of the application and the environment, 24/7/356 security and performance management and customer support. Our monthly fees start at $2,500 for set up then $99/month for Revize® ONLINE. Monthly fees can go up based on the number of pages and sites managed, the number of users, the amount of storage, etc. We also offer the option to implement and customize the software for our clients. If our clients would like to implement and manage the system themselves, we offer various training, consulting, and support programs. We also offer "enterprise" pricing for customers with larger requirements.

The bottom line: With Revize®, customers get a world-class application and service at a much better price than from a traditional software product. In fact, because implementation and management costs are so reasonable, we are cost-competitive with Open Source products.

Question: Will we lose control of our data or our application by working with a software service?
Answer: No. External developers can implement and manage the Revize® CMS system. In fact, we are one of the most flexible and developer-friendly applications on the market. We support integration with other platforms and applications in dozens of ways more than almost any other application in our sector. We also offer to add API calls required by developers for specific projects and offer Revize® software extensions for Macromedia's Dreamweaver.

Question: What expertise do we need to work with the Revize® software?
Answer: Revize® is designed for the non-technical business user to operate, with minimal training usually less than 15 minutes. An administrator of the system can add new users, change permissions, adjust workflow, etc., with no technical knowledge. A developer with strong HTML and ASP/VBScript skills can implement and manage every aspect of the Revize® system. A developer with good HTML skills but no ASP/VBScript capabilities can still adjust templates for look and feel, manage site navigation, and perform any other layout or look & feel change to a template. Developers working in environments like IBM's WebSphere or Microsoft's .NET can integrate easily with the Revize® system using Web Services or other standard connection methods.

Question: Does Revize® ONLINE host our web site as well?
Answer: The Revize® system publishes approved pages and assets out to the live web server. We offer Web Hosting as an optional service, but don't require it. We can publish into any live environment, and currently publish into dozens of different data centers and hundreds of different environments.

Question: We have other applications running. How does Revize® CMS integrate with other applications?
Answer: Almost every web site today has forms, user tracking, authentication, or some other type of server-based interactivity. We integrate easily with these functions. Likewise, content is often published from the Revize® system and other systems, like an e-commerce application or a database application. Revize® integrates with applications like these simply and easily.
